Obstetrics (Cois Ti)
Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) holds a weekly antenatal clinic at The Livinghealth Clinic, Mitchelstown. This is a midwife led service and has an ultrasound scanning service. This clinic looks after women with low risk pregnancies and focuses on normality.

The philosophy of the midwifery led service is to facilitate a healthy pregnancy to an active and positive birth. To do this we actively encourage women to prepare the mind and body for pregnancy, birth and adaptation to parenthood.

Appointments for CUMH’s antenatal clinics at Livinghealth Clinic, Mitchelstown can be made following the risk assessment antenatal visit at CUMH at 20 weeks of pregnancy.

These appointments can be made at the reception desk in the Outpatients Department in CUMH or by phoning Central Appointments on 021-4920500
