Margaret Ann is a Registered General Nurse with a wide range of experience. She trained in General Nursing in Limerick Regional Hospital and later completed a Practice Nurse course in UCC. She worked in Casualty/Ambulance for 3 years and Gerontology for 8 years before joining Dr Declan Herlihy’s practice in 2006, which later became Living Health. Margaret Ann has gained a broad level of experience in all aspects of practice nursing, including phlebotomy, cardiac care, childhood vaccinations, cervical screening, spirometry, travel vaccines and baby checks.
Margaret Ann is our Nurse Team Lead and is responsible for ensuring nursing standards are kept up to date.
Eileen is Registered General Nurse with a wide range of experience and trained in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Her extensive experience includes 2 years working at the Princess Grace Hospital, in London, 10 years with Beaumont Hospital, Dublin gaining vast experience in Haematology Urology and ENT and 4 years’ experience with Mallow General Hospital. For the past 16 years, Eileen has been working as a Practice Nurse with a special interest in Diabetes Care and Travel Medicine.
Mary is a Registered General Nurse with a wide range of experience. She trained in St John’s Hospital, Limerick and also trained as a midwife in The Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Mary’s experience also includes working abroad including working as a General Nurse and Gerontology in London, Australia and Africa. For the past 17 years, Mary has worked as a Practice Nurse and has a great deal of experience in all practice nursing duties including phlebotomy, childhood vaccinations, ante-natal and post-natal care, spirometry and cervical screening
Shauna is a registered general nurse of 10 years. She graduated from UCC in 2014 with a BSc (hons). Shauna had worked for 2 years in care of the elderly prior to graduating. Post graduation she worked in Cork hospitals for 8 years gaining experience in surgery, medicine, orthopaedics, the high dependency unit and the emergency department. Shauna joined the team in Living Health in 2022.
Shauna has special interests in wound care, travel vaccines, emergency care, phlebotomy and cervical screening. She is a patient advocate and educator for hypermobility syndromes and rare inherited genetic conditions. She holds membership with The Hypermobility Syndromes Association and Ehlers Danlos Society Echo programmes.
Una is a registered general nurse with a wide range of experience. She trained in General Nursing in Limerick Regional and St.Johns Hospital Limerick. She worked in a Private Cardiology Practice for 22 years with a Consultant Cardiologist. For the past 5 years Una has been working as a Practice Nurse with experience in all practice nursing duties including phlebotomy, childhood vaccinations, cervical screening, spirometry, ear irrigation, 24-hour ABPM and ECG screening.
Eleanor is a Registered General Nurse with a wide range of experience. She worked in the Casualty Department of Our Lady’s Hospital, Cashel for many years and has been working as a Practice Nurse in the Living Health since 2009. She has extensive experience in a wide range of practice nursing duties including phlebotomy and childhood vaccinations. Since 2019 Eleanor carries out the duties of a phlebotomist in the practice.
